- Floater--Someone who leaves the competitive portion of BLC before the end of 12 weeks. If a person goes floater 2 rounds in a row, they may be ineligible for the following round. A challenger may be moved to floater for many reasons, including but not limited to: posting fewer than 3 times per week, 2 unexcused missed weigh ins in a row or 3 unexcused misses total, a challenger's personal reason. Every effort is made by the captain to work with a challenger to avoid placement in floater status. A floater is welcome to post with his/her team; however, his/her weigh ins and/or challenge points do not count toward the team total.
